    All Season

Spirit of the All Season Performance Tire

Imagine an all season performance tire designed to offer true grip and increased traction that ultimately advances driver confidence whatever the weather condition. With the ZIEX ZE912, Falken has developed a tire with full-depth sipes encircling the tread, coupled with high-volume circumferential grooves and high angle variable cross grooves, that bring together the spirit of performance driving in all climates. When faced with wet conditions, the ZIEX ZE912 features increased hydroplane resistance and increased tread stability by evacuating water away, delivering improved grip composure, while its hybrid-asymmetric pattern produces better dry performance and genuine touring confidence during each and every season. The result is a tire that performs regardless of the condition of the road.

    • Hybrid-Asymmetric Pattern Design – Optimized inside and outside tread patterns to ensure all-season grip on demand
    • Infinite Sipe Sequence – Full-depth sipes throughout the entire tread platform creating biting edges that dramatically increase traction in all seasons
    • Rotation Wear Indicators (RWI) – Falken engineered visual cues that help the driver maximize tire life and overall tire value, prompting regular tire maintenance
    • Four High-Volume Circumferential Grooves – Designed to deliver increased hydroplane resistance and maximum stability in wet conditions
    • High Angle Variable Cross Grooves – In inclement weather conditions, these grooves effectively evacuate water away from the contact patch

I purchased 4 fallen tires at pep boys, after 3 months the two front tires were worn. Pep boys replaced with 2 40k mileage flakens. After 6 months the other two original flakens wore out. The car was a newer car and alignment was perfect and checked each time. I replaced those with two Michelin at pep boys, enough was enough. Just got out of pep boys and wanted to rotate, they couldn't because the two 40k flakens were down too worn after only 14000 miles. Now will replace with Michelin or anything else but never ever buy flakens again. They are the worst tires ever and should not even be in the business. Just my experience, I have owned cars and bought tires for 30 years and never had such pain.

These tires were purchased April 2013. The first bit of the summer they were not too bad, Nice grip in the wet. By the end of the summer they started becoming noisy, following grooves in the road etc, They are wearing poorly. Had them rebalanced and had my alignment checked....my car had no issues. Tires are crap. both on my car and my daughters C30 volvo. I'm waiting for the Falken rep to see what he will do.

Worst tire ever... I drive in Norfolk, VA which have bad roads so that definitely doesn't help. In the snow or rain it doesn't handle well. It bubbled on the sidewall and then creeped up to the top of the tire. I just passed 7000 miles and now I'm getting new tires. Falken will no longer be my primary choice of tire.

Don't complain about these tires if you live in an area that experiences winter. Haven't you heard about SNOW TIRES? Where I live we seldom get snow, but I run on snow tires anyway because it is safer. Aggressive driver
