These tires were on a used 2wd truck I bought. Not impressed. When accelerating from a stop, the rear tires spin very easily on wet pavement and are even worse when there is snow. I have put about 500 lb in the box now for the winter, but that has not helped much. The tires are also noisy at highway speeds, but I have had worse. Not sure what brand I will put on when these wear out.

I am so far not impressed with these studded tires. I don't seem to have the traction I should have or have had in the past with Cooper studded winter tires. My truck slips on ice every time I start off on icy roads and has spun out and slid sideways on sharp corners at slower speeds. If I could get a refund I would!

Absolutely love these studded tires. Have to drive throughout northern Alberta in the oil patch. Terrible gravel roads with lots of snow that turns to ice. Drove on freezing rain ice covered highways without any issues at all. Able to maintain normal highway speeds while driving through travel advisory closures on the Alberta number 2 highway and transcanada highway number 1 west of Calgary. Definitely worth the money and will use in the future on other vehicles.

I put these on my F150 because I have a very steep driveway and to help with winter driving conditions. I plow my driveway (500') and the end of the road as well. My steep driveway has a ramp that has defeated every car I have owned. So I have had to go with Jeep or 4wd. With these snow tires on I was plowing through deep deep snow on a 45 degree incline without weight in the back. These tires are incredible. I never experienced so much confidence with tires before using these (less expensive) tires. I was very pleased and happy. I would recommend these if you have extreme winter conditions and want to stay safe. Have not done a lot of highway driving with these so cant be ultra specific about the noise.
