I've never owned winter tires before, so I can't compare them to others. But as far as comparing them to all seasons, the difference is amazing. I live in Ontario Canada, so we can get quite a bit of snow. With these on my Jeep, I always feel like I'm in complete control of the vehicle on snow and ice, even while not in 4x4. I did not have the same feeling with all seasons. Worth every penny.

An excellent snow tire, although I used these year round. Got 60,000 miles on a set of these. Buying 4 more. Excellent snow traction and performance especially on my 4 wheel drive Quadra Trac Jeep. Also very good on ice. Best snow tire I ever had. Quite ride too. Will outperform any AT tire in the winter snow.

Put these tires on my Tacoma in November '10. Drove in all conditions, snow, wet, slush, dry, high speed, hard pack, etc. Made four (4) trips to Toronto, (from Timmins), and was very pleased with traction, relatively low noise and imperceptible tread wear. Will be subjecting tires to same thing this year and am sure I will be pleased. For the price the tires can't be beat. There may be better, (read pricier) winter traction tires out there, but not for this price. I feel that I got my monies worth.
