Great tire, had all seasons before , these tires will get you through all but the deepest snow. I drive up and down alot of hills to get back and forth to work and vermont and these tires were awesome , makes driving in the snow fun. Had an all wheel drive car prior to the Mazda 3s and I have to say I feel just as safe .

Bought to replace a set of Toyo's Garith HT following saleman's recommandations. Definitly not on the same league. On snow and for city driving they are ok. Very effective on snow covered roads. On ice they aren't good as people say. Dangerous on black ice. On highway they aren't good at all. Car is hard to control and I have to correct steering all the time like if there was 100 km/h winds. I don't think I'd buy them again, I don't like to drive my car anymore since I installed those tires.

I purchased these tires a few months ago and wow so far they are super. They have wonderfull traction inthe huge snowfall we just had and the few times I have needed them on ice they really did a fantastic job of stopping. I have a jeep so I just had to try and get these stuck in a huge snow hill near my place and they just wouldnt have any of it. After getting the jeep in as far as possible in one fast run I had all four tires under the snow and the show was half way up the doors but with little effort tese tires were definatly up tot he task of pulling me out.

Previously owmed Pirelli Winter carving, they were 4 yrs old so I tried the Generals, as good if not better in sloppy snow and ice found here in Toronto, good stopping and steering with these on all 4 corners.
