  • Honda Accord - 205/65/15 - Good traction. Prominent Noise. Showing sign of wear after 18,000 miles in normal driving - I'm not an aggressive driver.

  • Pontiac SV6 - Goodyear - Assurance TripleTred Tires — We were planning a long trip and needed a good tire for all types of roads conditions. At first these tires did what they claim and I would have rated them much higher until we hit one year later. After about 15,000 kms we started to notice a significant amount of road noise in our Pontiac SV6. The tires are rated at 120,000 km and I am in the process of getting rid of them at 20,000km. If you want to listen to the radio without the tires drowning it out then you should look for a different tire. I purchased Goodyear tires partly because of the branding and quality they claim to offer but I was sadly mistaken. I thought it was just our vehicle but if you search through several tire review websites you will find I am not alone in this issue with the Assurance Triple Treads. Not sure why it starts around 15K but my only suggestion is DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES.

  • 1996 Previa AllTrac - 215/65/15 - Put these on the Previa when these first came out and put about 55K miles on them. Smooth quiet ride. Good all-around traction. Performed remarkably well in the snow with the all wheel drive. Excellent in rain.

  • 2004 impala SS - 235/55R17 - I LIVE NEAR TORONTO ONTARIO,CANADA, DRIVE ABOUT 40,000 KMS A YEAR 80% HYW AND 20% CITY. FIRST SET I PURCHASED I HAD ISSUES THAT AFTER 20,000 KMS IT STARTED MAKING A LOT OF ROAD NOISE I MEAN SO MUCH THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE A TRUCK! DEALER SAID THE USSUAL STUFF, BALANCE THE TIRES. DID THAT BUT ONLY GOT WORSE(TIRES WERE ROTATED EVERY 10,000KMS AS RECOMMENDED) I COMPLAINED ENOUGH THAT THEY DID THE PRO-RATE ON THE TIRES. I WOUND UP PAYING 50% OF THE COST OF THE NEW TIRES SO AFTER 25,000 KMS THEY WERE 50% GONE???? TIRES WERE FEATHERED AS THE TERM WAS USED (THEY SAID THAT THE CAUSE WAS PROBLY DUE TO MISAIGNMENT OF THE CAR?)HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE ORIGINAL TIRES THAT CAME WITH THE CAR AND HAD NO NOISE ISSUES, ORIGNAL'S ARE THE GOODYEAR RSA'S. WELL WENT TO A NEW DEALER, THE ORIGINAL DEALER DID NOT HELP IN NO WAY. GOT THE NEW TIRES ON AND HAD THE CAR ALIGNED AS TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WELL THE NEW TIRES DID WEAR BETTER (CONTINUED)
