I live in Montana and needed an all-season tire that I could especially trust in snow, ice and rain conditions. I was really pleased with how well they handle all season conditions and how fabulous they perform in bad weather. As they say in Montana, if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it will be different. I always felt comfortable with these tires when the weather changed when I was on the interstate as these tires really do a great job on puddles and ice/snow that just come out of nowhere on a Montana highway. Just this past winter I pulled several other cars/trucks that were stuck in snow and I never had a problem. I just ordered another set. I know there are a lot more comfortable ride tires out there, however, the "smooth ride" comfort doesn't help much compared to comfort of knowing you and your family will stay on the road when it is 0 degrees on snow packed roads in the middle of nowhere. Plus I have gotten a lot of comments on the cool and unique traction look. Only issue was they did start to wear funny on the outsides near the end of the tire life. Again, for the Montana roads I drive, the pros way outweighed the cons and I just ordered another set.

Do not waste your money. These tires are rate 90,000 miles but after 35,000 miles, one of the three was out of round that cause vibration. The noise is really bad, they make you thing your bearings are gone. They are directional which the can be truly rotate.

Impressively better snow and wet traction than "stock tires. Honda's notoriously awful in snow >3" but Civic with TripleTreads handles 6" easily - multiple times this last winter. Unaware of any hydroplaning on rainy highways asphalt or concrete. Will purchase next time.

I got these tires to replace my stock tires. I put about 75k miles on them and I never had issues with them. The grip on the road is amazing, I always drove my Forester with confidence that the tires would grip the road. On dry pavement I always felt like the car would tip over before the tire would loose grip in a sharp turn. The bad side is that they are loud. I mean if you drive over 50mph you will hear the tires roll down the road. I basically gave up having long phone conversation while on the interstate at speeds above 70mph. I'm looking now to get new tires and I'm torn. I love the performance aspect of these tires but I'm not sure I want to put up with the noise level.
