Bought these after nitto 555r's wore out. I am happy with the dry performance. I have 255/40 in back and 245/45 in front and its works good for my 400+ hp mustang. I do not like them wet(or any other tire for that matter) cause they cant get enough traction even at light throttle. The biggest issue is hydra planing alot. I am nervous with them on wet days but dry days am very happy. After these wear out I am going back to nitto's though for sure.

I am a former tire builder and loved Goodyear tires. These are the worst tire I have ever owned. They are louder than my one ton van with cheap Kimonos! It will be my last Goodyear tire i will purchase.

Overall I've been happy with these tires. I have a 2003 Jetta Wolfsburg (I think the tires are the same as a GLX.) They corner great wet or dry and in very hard rain they are amazing. I can't recommend for areas with snow or ice. On hard pack snow they feel sketchy, but to be fair I didn't spend much time in the snow. Everywhere else you feel like you are on rails! When I bought them I was warned they are a little noisy and at about the 30,000 mile mark they got real loud (like a mud tire roar) at freeway speed. I had them re-balanced and that fixed it. They are needing replacement now at about 45,000 miles. In a wet climate, I would definitely recommend them. I live in a dry climate with occasional heavy rain, so I'm probably going to get another set after I look around a little at other options.

I've had these tires for 26,000 miles and they already need replacing. After about 6,000 miles the tires were so bad in wet roads i spun out twice taking a left hand turn at 15mph. I have to keep my foot completely off the gas on turns to not spin out. I thought this happened because the car is not very heavy but my brother bought a different brand of tires and in his car I can do similar turns, in the same model car as mine, at 25 mph while accelerating normally and not have to worry about the wheels losing traction and spinning out like i do on mine. In dry conditions the tires are ok but after about 10,000 miles they make a ton of noise in the highway. I have tried them in snow once when they had about 3,000 miles on them and they weren't dangerously bad, but aren't a good snow tire.
