Eagle RS-As came as original equipment on my 2010 Civic. I was very happy with the look and performance. They have good grip and don’t squeal on the corners. Also, a firm but fairly quiet ride. I rotated them annually after swapping out for my snow tires each year. I put 105,000 km on them (almost down to the wear bars) before putting on a new set of the same in April 2015. I see some complaints about poor winter performance? If you want winter performance (news flash) you’ll need to get winter tires!

The dry performance of these tires is great. In the rain, they aren't terrible, but could be better. Where they really excel is in the snow. Granted my car is AWD, but I was really impressed with how easy it was to drive in the snow. I had to really mash the accelerator to lose any traction, even with my car's traction control turned off. I can't comment on the tread life because I bought my car with these tires already on it. I've never noticed any noise from them, but I'm not the type of person to be bothered by something like that, unless they are obnoxiously loud (which these aren't). Overall, I think these tires are a good choice for your average car, but since I drive a more performance-oriented vehicle, I am going to switch to a more aggressive summer tire.

Horrible tire. Came with my 2014 Cadillac CTS wagon and had to be replaced at 21,000 miles, just about 13 months of driving. I do a lot of highway driving and was was surprised that I needed a replacement set. I had no issues on dry roads and was even marginally happy with it's performance in the snow. Rain, that's another story. Probably the worst tire I've ever had in the rain. It might be a good tire for some but but for me I was very disappointed.

These tires were orignal equipment. Maybe I was just phenomonally lucky but after 84,000 miles the tread deapt is still at 3/32. I drive a mix of city and highway and enjoy agressive cornering. I have tried to get the tires to chirp while cornering and it takes about 3 times the posted speed limit. On concrete the tires generate noise, on pavement very quiet. I drive highway speeds of 75-80 MPH with no issues. The tires have never hydroplaned but wet traction is just average. They are definitely not good in snow which is a bit of a problem. While overall I have been happy with the performance of this tire I am repacing these tires with the Eagle sport A/S that is rated better all the way around.

215/55/17 came on my Nissan Juke. They were wore out at 27,000 miles and handled very poor in the snow and on wet roads. As my Juke is still under warranty I went to the Nissan dealer to only find out the tires were not covered under any warranty. I was discussed with this as other new vehicles I had bought in the past was able to put around 75,000 miles on the stock tires before they needed replacing. Needless to say I stopped at a Big-o and bought a quality tire and had them installed, I couldn't believe the difference a good tire made over a reinforced inner tube that came stock on the Nissan Juke.
