Here's the deal. Don't expext to get more than 25,000 miles out of this tire. It is rated 280 and is a summer performance tire. Meaning it is softer and better warm weather traction. Why put a snow rating on a summer tire? All in all, I am very pleased with this tire, but I am considering the V2 concept, next. Hard to find in this size, though. So I may be forced to go with the V12. The $80 rebate going on right now is pretty inticing. I put V2's on my daughters car and they perform well and are a all season tire with a 500 AA A rating. Thinking I'll be able to get 15,000 more miles out of them.

These tires are fine for going to work and back, but they are definitely not Ultra High Performance. My Hankooks only have 2,000 miles and the center rib is peeling away and chunks of 1" x 1" rubber is missing. I tried to get them to warrant them, but they said I drove the tires too hard and to buy the R-S3s. I had P Zeros before these tires and they wore much better, no separating or chunking tread. You get what you pay for. If you want a Ultra High Performance tire, I'd go with Continental, Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestones or a more experienced tire company. The only thing good is that they were squirmy at the limit and didn't surprise you when they break loose. Turn in a also slow, so don't expect lazer sharp turn in with these tires.

Have not tried in snow so disregard that rating! However, as a summer tire these are on the same level handling wise as the original Pirellis. Comfortwise the Hankooks are more than a class better where especially the noiselevel in the cabin is noticeably lower. They only run during summer so probably they will do 3 seasons for me which equals out at about 40000 km.

First, tires are 255/40/19, not 245/45/19. Only 2 options to select for 2010 Mustang GT. Mine came from factory with the Track-Pak package and 255/40/19 Pirelli P Zero summer tires. After just 15000 miles the Pirelli's had to go. Nothing bad to say about the Pirelli, except the price to replace them. $450.00/tire. Needless to say, I started looking for a different tire. After much research, I decided on the Hankook V12. After 25000 happy miles, the tires need replaced. Wet/dry handling was a real pleasure. I have fun in my car, otherwise I would have opted for the GT without the Track Pac package. Normal rotating of tires is necessary to get 25000 miles. What supprised me the most about these tires was the "soft" feeling when cornering. It almost feels as if they are going to break loose, but, they give to a certian point, everytime then bite just as good as the Pirelli's did. Once you get use to the feeling, confidence in the tire, is without a doubt remarkable. Nice job Hankook. 1 fianl note, at really high speeds, 150 plus, tires feel just as good at normal speeds. Yes, there are places to "open the car up". very quite at all levels of speed.
