1st And Foremost, I Have To AGREE With the 2nd Write Up On the 2nd Page! Excellent Point! When Buying A "HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRE" You Will Get the Best Compound Which Won't "LAST" As-LONG As A Mediocre Compound Which Will LAST A Little LONGER! I'm An OLD SCHOOL Mechanic From the Late 70's And Early 90's And Avid Track Aficionado! So To Speak! The Late 70's To Mid 80's Was Goodyear Gatorback Tire! BIG Tire! If You Didn't Have These On Your Cars Back Then, You Didn't Go Out With Your Car! Then Came the Pirelli P77 Tires! HOLY Shazam! This Became the Tire Of the Mid To Late 80's! Then, The Bridgestone Potenza Of the 90's! Today! You Buy TIRES According To Your Vehicle And And What Your Driving In! L@@K For the Best Rated Tire For the Conditions Were YOU Live And What Your Driving! For SNOW States, Get A 2nd Set Of Wheels For the SNOW! When the SUMMER Arrives Switch Back To Your Preferred Performance Tire! The HANKOOK Ventus ST RH06, Are Xcellent Tires On My GMC 2011 Denali AWD! At 70 And 80MPH Great Handling! In the Rain @ 65-70MPH, SAFE And SECURE! YOU Change Out High Performance Tires @-3/4 Tread Life Left! Remember "Rule of Thumb"> SOFT COMPOUND Best Performance Last The Least! HARD COMPOUND Less Performance Last The Longest! And For Those Who Drive Repeatedly Over the Posted Speed, You Use Up More Of the Rubber On Your Tires! Don't Forget That!!! ALWAYS Check Your Tire Pressures @ Every 2nd OR 3rd Fill Up! Make It A Habitual Habit! Keep A Note Pad In Your Vehicle And Write Down the Tire Pressures Front To Back! And Do A COLD Check Every Other Week! And Write It Down! This Is OLD SCHOOL!

I had Dunlop's on my truck, then I changed them for Hankook's. Traction on wet and dry conditions deffiniteve improved. They offer a soft and quiet ride. I definetily would recommend these tires for an SUV or Pick Up. I have use them for around 20,000 kilometers and rotate them every 5000 kilometers. Improper worn does not seems to be an issue so far, and until now tires do show some worn but not excesive. As I live in Mexico, I haven't had the chance to try them on snow so I cannot give an opinion of how do they perfom on snow.

I bought these tires after I got my truck, which comes stock with Goodyear Eagle RS-A's that were shot after 22k miles. AWD burnouts in the rain kind of shot. So here we are at 79,858 miles and the snow traction, comfort and noise have gone out the window. They're essentially done anyway with very little life left on them so noise should be expected with any tire at this point. The ride for my particular vehicle is very stiff but compliant and very predictable, making spirited driving easier. However, just like most tires, we've gotten to the last layer of tread compound and with the cold weather and several feet of snow and then slush it's apparent these will no longer suffice for all season needs. They're extremely hard and noisy and with more snow coming soon it's time to replace. Would I buy them again? Sure, but I'm ready to try something less sporty and more winter ready.

Bought these tires in the summer of 2013. Find them to be an excellent buy. A very quiet tire with great summer traction. Winter driving is average even with the huge dump of snow we got in Alberta. Previous tires were Pirelli and the Hankooks at ten times the tire. Excellent price also. Would definitely buy them again.
