    After seeing so many reviews and being that these are made in Korea, I had to give them a try (not studded). I didn't drive a lot this winter, a little over 3000km but the tires look still new. In heavy snow, these grip, you don't have any trouble getting a grip in the snow. On the wet snow though when the temperature reaches the freezing mark, I was caught by surprise a few times when they suddenly became slippery. I guess those big grooves were made to channel thick consistent snow and not light wet snow. Still, overall a good winter tire so far.

    Great winter tire. I have them mounted on my wife's X3 and they have performed great all winter. This year we broke a snow fall record and the weather has been fluctuating lots so we have had to deal with lots of snow and icy road conditions. We travel in winter highway conditions often and the tires have done a great job, I would not hesitate to buy another set.

    This has been the best set of snows I ever had. I live in the snowbelt area south of Buffalo, NY. I drive 80 miles/day to and from work. My little hatch back has passed suv's stuck on snow covered hills and brought me safely home in 13 inches of snow. My driveway is 158 feet from road to house and I have yet to get stuck even in knee deep snow. No other snow tire has come close to the performance of these. I currently have about 6000 miles on these and cannot detect any wear.

    I am a pretty aggressive driver and I have never found any faults with the traction, in any driving conditions with these tires. As for the noise, I have them studded so of course they're loud. I haven't had them that long so I don't know about treadwear. I would recommend them to anyone.
