Fitted these to my worked BRZ (255/35/R18 rear | 225/40/R18 front. Very comfortable and minimal noise. Quite a progressive tire in the dry (although not as much as the Toyo R1Rs and Brigstone RE050A's I've had on previous cars. Albeit much cheaper! However the wet weather performance is surprisingly poor. I have less rear end grip with these 255 tires than I did with the stock 215 Prius tires that came with my BRZ. I think I'll go for a KU39 next time. Overall I think they are OK for a reserved driver, or someone who wants to have fun in a relatively low powered rear wheel drive vehicle like a BRZ,FRS or MX5, but this is not what I would consider a High Performance tire, as Kumho's marketing would indicate.

When I purchased the Kumho Ecsta 4X tires I was really impressed. I have owned Dunlop DZ101, Toyo T1R and a few other tires in the past on different vehicles. I found these tires to have very good handling on both dry and wet roads. It handled in the rain as if it wasn't raining, you would drive through some deep puddles of water and you felt extremely confident. I cannot comment on the handling in snow as it does snow where I live. As for life I have used these tyres at several track events and the front pair needs replacing while the back pair is still like new. With the front pair needing to be replaced the handling in the rain is very poor but that I guess is expected. I would purchase again but am unable to get another set.

I am very satisfied with these tires for the price, about 50% wear 15000 km, I would buy without hesitation.

Have had Fallen 452, bridgestone turanza, Firestone, a and pirelli's. These are quieter stiff sidewall and great in the wet. On a worked SS Commodore.

Yes I have a WRX so naturally wet traction will be better. Having said that I have had other tires and these perform much better in the dry and wet. As a UHP A/S tire they are great with a pretty stiff sidewall.
