I bought 2012 Hyundai Sonata and these tires come with it. I have 39k on the tires and the tread is down to 20%, very noisy and wear off fast. I would never buy this brand again.

Near Stock 1990 Miata (205/40r17 tires/rims, and engine compartment stiffening bar) Tires are fine for highway cruising/day to day driving in dry weather ( rare thing here in the Willamette valley, Oregon U.S.A.) in the wet or cold they are poor.. and in "spirited driving".... well, I REALLY miss the old Federal 595SS tires that were on the car when I bought it... the Kumho's (which I used on all my prior cars) plow like a draft horse.. I mean SERIOUS understeer (slide right out of a corner type understeer if not carefull) where the feddies stuck like glue (blowing a Z06 corvette that was REALLY trying hard... away on a twisty road, in a Miata... THAT is stuck like glue) maybe I should have gotten the next step up Ecsta... but the price on the AST sucked me in (low bank account when tires were needed) Still like Kumho tires... but no more AST's for me.

2012 WRX/Stage 3. Decent cheap tire. Grip seems fair when pushed, comfort is fine. Not sure about noise, my turboback exhaust, and blowoff is what I hear under power. No issues with noise when cruising freeways. Sidewall flex is fine as long as tire pressure is correct. Steering feedback is very good IMO, better than OEM Dunlops. I had a set of these on my 04 WRX and got 30,000 out of them, before they got whompy. I really don't think you can buy a better tire for the money. If I were to target anything its extreme cornering in wet, which I try not to do, otherwise siping is pretty good. This is a softer compound tire which ill wear a bit quicker and can only be rotated front to rear. Being symmetrical AWD, frequent rotation is a must!

These were fairly well reviewed at the time of purchase. I bought these a long time ago and parted with the car several years ago. They were pretty good in the first season, but the tread compound seemed to deteriorate quickly. They wore quicker than expected and lost points in traction.
