  • 2007 Mazda 3 5dr GT - 205/50R17 - An excellent value. Tires have not let me down in 3 years. Dry traction is excellent. On cold, dry roads this tire has tons of grip and handles almost like a sport tire. No mushy feeling like you get with some tires. Snow/Ice driving is good. Not as good as more aggresive winter tires, but nonetheless it is more that competent. Wear has been good. Used them for 3 winters thus far (~25k kms) ad they still have plenty of tread. Hopefully I can get another 2-3 years out of them. These tires are noisy, as the tread pattern is fairly blocky. I would recomend these tires to people that want excellent dry/cold winter road traction. These tires feel very sporty in those conditions. Light snow/ice driving comes at a comprimise, but is still good.

  • Cobalt coupe - 195/60-R15 - I have been using these winter tires since I first bought them in Fall 2006. Only now do I need to buy some new ones, and really, I only need two, not four, although I'll buy four if there is an advantage to doing so. I have been going to school; so, I drive approx. 350kms on the highway each week (going to/fro home on weekends) and spend the work week doing all city driving. Probably not many kms, but I'm young and don't drive too casually, either. I also don't shy away from driving in snowstorms. Just adjust speed accordingly. Finally, I drive on Michelin HydroEdge tires during the Spring and Summer, on a one size larger tire and rim package, for reference. If this helps, great. Cheers.

  • Nissan Sentra - 185/60/14 - Those tires perform exeptionally well for the price. After using different models in the past I've had these for 2 winters now and they get me everywhere I need to go safely.
