Great bang for the buck. I bought these tires from my local Wal Mart on sale for around $63/ea. I've been in so many different weather conditions since installing these and am very impressed. Dry roads, heavy rain, 2in of Ice up north and heavy heavy snow. These tires have performed above my expectations. DON'T get hung up on name brand and save some $. Can't comment on treadwear yet but for the price, if they only last me 2 seasons I've gotten my money's worth.

These tires handle snow like a PistenBully snow cat machine at Banff! You won't get stuck whatsoever. Sidewalls are a little soft and not as firm a ride as my previous Pirelli 210 Snowsports. The only complain I have is on ice and slippery conditions and that they loose traction too often. Tires are studable and this may be for this very reason. Studs would solve the slippery conditions and the natural tread handles the snow. All in all and reasonably good snow tire.

This tire works fine for bare minimum winters, while it's new. Does not work for Atlantic Canadian winters after about 10k km. More than a couple inches of snow, they can't hold the road. Treadwear I did expect to be low, given it is a winter tire, but I did NOT expect the significant drop in traction around 15-20k. If I were to buy these at less than 100$/tire and wasn't in an area that consistently has 6ft snowbanks, I'd probably be happy with them, but that just isn't the case.
