Finishing up with second set of these on my VW SUV. Exceptional performance and no road noise. Both sets have lasted 50,000+ miles. These are the tires to buy!

Hello I´m from Finland and driving the second summer on these SUMMER TIRES. I use Nokia Hakkapelita (probably the worlds best wintertires) from early november to late april or early may. I personally would never ever even try the latitude HP on snow, it´s an easy way to kill yourself. Also the treadwear is not bad if you buy tires with the right speed and weight raitio for you vehicle. I only need 104 H but prefer to buy (a few euros extra) 108 V tires. Probably those of you that have experinced low mileage or problems with the quality of these tires have the wrong weight speed ratio. Ofcourse I will not blame the owner for a mistake like this, but the person that sold you the tires has made a big mistake. Speed ratio / class Q = 160 km/h R = 170 km/h S = 180 km/h T = 190 km/h H = 210 km/h V = 240 km/h W = 270 km/h Y = 300 km/h. I hope this was informative and helpful for you guys. Sami from Finland ps. I´ll easily get atleast one more summer out of these tires maybe two.

I was very surprised to find out that if you drive this tire under inflated, because of loss of air, or flat, even for 1 -2 miles it will destroy the inside of the tire and cannot be fixed. This happened to us, and we had to buy a brand new tire, this makes no sense to me. Not a Happy Person.

Bought 4 for Acura MDX ONE YEAR AGO. After 16,000 miles they have to be replace. Totally worn out. Rotated about every 5,000 miles, although 7500 is required for warranty. Must now buy new tires and will never buy Michelin again unless there is a reasonable warranty adjustment.
