Very good tire. A bit pricey but when you buy Michelin, you have the quality. On ice, they feel comfortable and in snow, they work well. I'm used to having Avalanche Extreme tires which have a monstrous snow tread but these served me well. I'm happy and would buy again (on sale)

Tires were great in the snow, compacted snow, and slush. Tire noise is negliable, they are maybe 10% louder than my stock summer Michelins. Can not really comment on its performance on ice or how the treadwear is since I've only had them on for a few 100kms. Overall excellent winter tire.

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe - 225/70/16 - Got these after my Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow's wore out and after the garage accidentally installed Michelin Latitude X-Ice. These are excellent tires, not as quiet and smooth as the x-ice but they are light years ahead of the Pirelli's. What an amazing difference. The alpin's will outlast the x-ice and pirelli's for sure. Go for it, you'll be glad you did.
