I have these tires for almost 2 years. I live in Seattle, so I have to deal with the mist and rains in the area. They do fairly well in the rain, as I have a APR stage 2 Audi A3 with 300lb torque. You have to be extremely careful when spinning these tires, because the chunking of these tires are quite bad. On the sidewalls of the tires, I start seeing pretty bad chunking after 20k miles, I am struggling on what tires I should get for my next set. But anyways, if you want good tires under heavy rains, these ones will do, they are just not for drivers like me. P.S. the noise is getting terrible.

At first I thought these were dream tires. They really are great except for tread wear. And (at least with this RWD car) they're not going to make you happy in any kind of snow or ice situation. This being my 6th set of tires purchased from Tire Rack--and having just purchased my 7th set from them--I thought collecting something on the 45,000 mile warranty would be reasonably painless. FORGET THE WARRANTY. At 23,900 miles, I'm down to 5/32" of tread, the wonderful wet-traction and non-hydroplaning characteristics are gone, the ride has become rough, and the road noise has become stupid. It's illegal in WA to drive at 2/32", and according to the sheet they email you Tire Rack wants me to wear 'em right down to 2/32" before they will honor the warranty. Talk to them on the phone and they're tough as nails when you want some warranty love. Oh...did I tell you they also want me to FedEx the tires at my expense to them? I realize that a 23,900 mile life on a high-end tire like this isn't unusual. But, as a selling point, the promise is 45,000, so hey... My next 7 sets of tires are not going to come from Tire Rack.

255/40 19. Replaced stock summer-only Pirelli's. With 398 ft-lbs of tourque (2011 Mustang GT), I need a good tire. I live in Saint Louis..and this is my daily driver. These tires, while not as attractive as some others, really keep the car planted in a consistent manner. The summer-onlys were too unpredictable in this climate...and these fit the job perfectly.

These tires promosed so much but did not deliver. The ride is extremely noisy and the front tires are flaking. Only had 30000 miles on them. They replaced the Yokohama Advantage S4's. I'll be going back to them.

I usually have 2 or 3 cars going at the same and purchased the G35 Coupe that had these new 19"tires installed. For BC driving with plenty of rain I must these are best tires I have ever experienced in the rain and just as good on dry pavement. I'm pretty sure I can launch the G35 in the rain quicker than any all-wheel drive on the road. I'm simply amazed. Can't comment on the treadwear yet as I've only put on roughly 3000kms and no sign of wear. I don't drive like some morons who clearly should have only high performance summer tires on their "supercharged sport coupe" accelerating beyond 60mph and doing "quick steering on the highway". Also experienced some snow and it did better than expected although my car should have snow tires for the snow. I would highly recommend this tire and will likely buy for other vehicles if I can afford them. ;-) The price is quite high here in Canada.
