Winter Traction for Luxury Touring Vehicles. H-rated MICHELIN® Primacy® Alpin® PA3™ tires help deliver a smooth touring ride with efficient wet braking and controlled maneuvers in wintery conditions.

    • Primacy™ Alpin® PA3™ tires offer a 10% gain in acceleration and handling characteristics in snow as a result of more sipe edges biting into snow and ice from 3-D StabiliGrip Technology™ with its bidirectional auto blocking and variable geometry sipes.
    • Increased traction at low temperatures for improved braking and handling in the wet and better overall performance in the snow, all the result of the revolutionary Helio CompoundTM, with sunflower oil. The PrimacyTM Alpin® PA3TM tire stop 5.6 feet shorter than its predecessor on wet
    • Building on the fuel efficiencies of its predecessor, the Primacy™ Alpin® PA3™ tire uses even less fuel thanks to a rolling resistance that has been reduced by 7%.

These tires slip a lot in snow, granted because it's a 09 C300 Benz 'rear wheel' drive, probably be better on a 4matic or fr drive vehicle. On 4th winter, lots of tread bite left.

225/55/17 I tried them in a deep snow- drives like a summer time (I'm serious). Good grip on ice. Low noise - probably the best one out there among winter tires. Puts the handling on a soft side (you may hate it at the beginning). However, I don't really care as it's the least of my worries winter time. A little on the expensive side, but worth every penny.

I had Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 last winter and I changed for this Micheline Primacy Alpin PA3 this winter to improve performance on my car, but I'm desapointed. This PA3 are for winter with not so much snow, as Europe, but here in Quebec the traction, I mean, adherance is very bad, if I make comparations with my laste Bridgestone.

07 Honda Civic Sedan - 195/55/R16 - Probably the best winter tire for a sedan, good grip and low noise for a winter tire. Only drawback is price, they are fairly expensive but if you want one of the best, you pay.
