For passenger cars and minivans, the new MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2TM tire is the best overall winter performing tire*, engineered to tackle most extreme cold weather driving conditions.

    Features:

    • Michelin's advanced tread block technology is a combination of multiple sipes and micro-pumps with a state-of-the-art rubber silica-based compound called FleX-Ice™ technology. This progressive, engineered combination helps deliver optimized tractive grip and exceptional braking on ice.
    • The MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2™ tire lasts 75% longer than the leading competitor without affecting other performances†. The depth of the Cross Z Sipes II and the Step Groove design help provide enhanced mobility, particularly in deep snow, winter after winter.
    • A wide tread contact patch generates acceleration and braking power, as well as cornering traction, for outstanding winter manoeuvering. Supporting knobs help provide stability on wet and dry roads in the winter, helping the MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2™ tire deliver the best overall winter traction, along with superior ice performance

  • Chevy Uplander - VERY VERY BAD IN SNOW ! Good on ice, but very comfortable as a SUMMER tire ! No jokes, I bought these, used them one winter, sold them on the classifieds, then bought Dunlop Grandtrek sj6. I never knew there could be such a difference in traction. Dunlops are real winter tires. Sorry Michelin.
