    Winter

For passenger cars and minivans, the new MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2TM tire is the best overall winter performing tire*, engineered to tackle most extreme cold weather driving conditions.

    Features:

    • Michelin's advanced tread block technology is a combination of multiple sipes and micro-pumps with a state-of-the-art rubber silica-based compound called FleX-Ice™ technology. This progressive, engineered combination helps deliver optimized tractive grip and exceptional braking on ice.
    • The MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2™ tire lasts 75% longer than the leading competitor without affecting other performances†. The depth of the Cross Z Sipes II and the Step Groove design help provide enhanced mobility, particularly in deep snow, winter after winter.
    • A wide tread contact patch generates acceleration and braking power, as well as cornering traction, for outstanding winter manoeuvering. Supporting knobs help provide stability on wet and dry roads in the winter, helping the MICHELIN® X-Ice® Xi2™ tire deliver the best overall winter traction, along with superior ice performance

These are the worst winter tires I have ever had. They aren't any better than a good all season radial. We had the original Xice on 2 previous vehicles. The Xice2 is terrible in snow and slush and not that great on packed snow or ice. I would not recommend them to anyone. I plan to run the Xice2 this summer to wear them out and replace them with BF Goodrich next winter.

I always used Bridgestone Blizzak's but the dealership included these tires on rims with the car for free when I purchased it. The dry traction is great, ice traction is great, deep snow traction is marginal and the noise level is fine. One thing I found with these tires compared to the Blizzak's is the wear, the Blizzak's wear much quicker than these tires and provide similar traction. I'm on my 3rd winter with these tires and I wouldn't hesitate to use them next winter or the winter after that.

No complaints for dry and wet traction, very quiet. Very very soft rubber compound... You can feel it while taking sharp curves. On fresh snow, no complaints... Packed snow is below way average imo, feel like its not gripping snow well, very dissapointing... Prepare to break earlier on lights or stops, if not tire will slide and sometimes abs kicks in. For my oncle's nissan rogue 2wd, anti-slip lights up 80% of the time after a stop. Would highly recommend not to use when weather starts to warm up! You can find better tire for the price. I should've bought yokohama geolanders...

These are not good on snow at all. I am a very careful driver and I find these tires to have absolutely no grip when there is light snow or slush on the road. Would absolutely not recommend these. I have used cheap Chinese tires in the past and they were far far superior and cheaper. The tread on these tires looks and feels like a summer tire.

This is the BEST set of tires I have ever purchased, for dry, wet, ice, snow, and off road, and they are QUIET! They grip the road like no other tire I have driven for the last 45 years. My wife drives a Lexus RX 350 with brand new Michelin Latitude MS, and came back to get my 4Runner with the X-Ice tires because there was so much of a difference in handling in the snow and ice..
