If you want a tire for quite, THIS IS YOUR TIRE!! Theys are by far the quietest tire I've ever owned. If you want a tire for fuel economy, this is not your tire. My gas mileage went down roughly 1-1/2 to 2 miles a gallon immediatley. I think this is due to softer, quieter compounds. As for handling, thses are on a 2008 SAAB 95. Since SAAB by that year was pretty well ruined by GM, I'd say the tire will out-perfom the car. If I was puttting these on my daughter's 2001 Aero, I dare say the ratings for handling would likely shift to the left. Great commuting tire, but less of a hard-drivier. Treadwear has been comfortably slow, giving my 120 mile per day commute.

This is my 4th set of Nitto tires. They last a long time, have a smooth ride, they are affordable and they are made in the USA. I highly recommend these tires for almost any vehicle.

While I didn't have any experience with these in snow, I had a lot of experience with them in the wet and they had almost zero traction. While starting from a red light in the rain using very little throttle, the rears would break loose. While cornering in the rain, even at the speed limit, the fronts would wash wide without warning. They were also extremely stiff until after about 10k miles when they finally softened up. However they were very quite and in the dry they did handle fairly well under hard driving and track use but once they broke away, they would snap without warning; it wasn't progressive at all. I would not buy these again as the Kumho Ecsta ASX provide much better all weather traction at a significantly cheaper price. For harder driving, the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 are a much superior tire at a similar price.

Very quite ride and good handling. Only tire that fit my car that come with any type of decent mileage rating. The only con the tired are they do squeal/screech under heavy acceleration and the width does bot seem as wide as the factory tires. Very minor cons to gain a quite ride and mileage. Reside in Florida, no snow here.
