The NT420S was specifically engineered to provide confident performance in rain or shine. The outer shoulder has large, continuous blocks to improve dry traction, while the inner shoulder channels away water for wet performance. The NT420S has a non-directional tread pattern that can be rotated front to back and side-to-side. This freedom of rotation can provide even wear across the tread and reduce the irregular wear that is commonly associated with directional tires. Even wear ensures a quieter, more comfortable ride and longer tread life. The result is a stress-free, high performance radial.

  • I just purchased a set of Nitto 420S for my 2007 Spor Trac limited. I got the biggest size i could fit (285/40/22). These tires are amazing, the tread pattern is awsome looking. Balancing was a piece of cake. Now for the ride, great in the wet and the handling on dry pavement is nothing short of excellent, these tires grip. They make no excessive road noise and they are very comfortable. Not sure about the tread wear yet but the installer at Kal Tire mentioned that these tires are good for about 80000km. All to say that I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend you look at these tires for your SUV. I personnaly think these are probably your best buy if your looking for a high performance SUV tire.

  • I had these for 2 1/2 years and just now I need to change out. Been through all weather (Extreme Florida rain storms, excessive heat, ice cold New England weather in winter) and these passed the test. My first set was the BFGoodrich GTire -FORCE T/A KDW 305/40R22 and I did'nt think I could ever beat those but the Nitto's did.

  • 07 silverado 1500 - 305/40/22 - Nice handling dry and wet. Awesome cornering and so far good treadwear. Steering wheel shakes though and balanced 3 times in three months.
