    All Season

The NT450 is an entry-level ultra-high performance radial designed for all-season performance. The unidirectional tread design performs exceptionally well in wet weather by evacuating water through the slanted grooves and lateral slits. The double center rib provides increased stability on straight-aways, during braking and during accelerating. The The NT450 is ideal for enthusiasts who demand performance and affordability.

I am a long time user of this model having run 4 sets on my car and for many years have been very satisfied with their performance but my latest set are absolutely WORTHLESS in wet weather! I have slid and slipped on every pavement type in the wet and even slid into the curb from a 35mph stop which I could not correct out of! I worked through my local Discount tire shop where I purchased them from to get Nitto to warranty replace or reimburse me but nothing doing without ANY interest from them in trying to investigate why these tires were faulty! I had even tried running a 205/55/15 set which were just as bad only adding another problem to the list with horrible side wall wobble! This model has gone to the crapper as far as performance is concerned and should be avoided at all costs if you value your safety!

Great tires compared to all that I have ever owned/used. Quiet, grippy, and very stylish. They are a little bit more expensive then other brands but you will notice great performance from them. Great handling with my 95' SI Civic around windy British Columbian mountain roads. Only have had them used in slushy conditions so far and they did much better than I thought they would. Definitely a great tire for spring, summer, and fall. Winter in Canada is always unpredictable and wouldn't recommend any all-season tires (WINTER TIRES!). Happy motoring!

Driven aggressively, on a 4000 lb '82 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon. NT450's were great on dry, average on wet. This heavy car pushes the front when taking wet corners agressively. Hydroplaning resistance is good. Tracks road ridges poorly. Used to haul 6.5X12' enclosed motorcycle trailer. In mud, the tire does surprisingly okay before wear bars show. Did fair to poor in Snow/Ice JUST before wear bars but I had no experience with them fresh in these conditions. 45,000miles before wear bars but I'm going 50k miles safely with no sign of chunking or cords showing. Still grip great in dry, fair to poor in wet now (as expected).
