Offering two tread designs (STR & STRA), this new all season product achieves new performance levels for the latest generation of Sport Utility, Light Truck & 4X4 vehicles. The STR design is characterized by round shoulder blocks and an open tread design, whereas the STRA has a "squarer" and a more robust shoulder area with full shoulder blocks, and aggressive tread design for increased stability and performance especially with larger vehicles. The Scorpion STR offers exceptional street performance with excellent balance in off-road conditions and delivers a quite and precise ride, while providing superior comfort and handling. The Scorpion STR also meets the severest international standards in terms of safety.

  • 08explorer limited - 255/50/20 - Tires were great for almost a year then got alot of vibration and handling problems. The Ford dealership talked us into new brakes, cut rotors, new wheel wieghts balancing and alignment but still had problems. Took it somewhere else they found that the belts were actually breaking through the inside of the tire and were very dangerous. Were all surprised there have been no serious accidents because of this. I did like those tires but afraid to use pirelli ever again.

  • Expedition - 275/55R20 - Not a bad tire for dry and rain but not impressed last winter. With 48,000 miles on them now (NOV) I need to get new tires before this winter's smow flies, very poor tread life. Won't buy the same for the next set. Spend $10-20 more per tire (all in) and move up to the similar ride BF Goodrich or Yokohama and get 65,000 miles from the next set.

  • Ford Expedition - P25570R18 112 SMS - Best SUV tire I have ever owned. Excellent on snow and wet pavement. Have no experience off road but this really isnt an off road tire. Perfect for city/highway driving.
