Rear-wheel-drive Ford/Merkur Scorpio. Noisy because mine are studded. 4/5 for handling and dry because they are winter tires - soft and narrow. My car is a tractor in snow and ice. I'm that jerk who drives fast when everyone else is inching along. The lane that no one is using in the blizzard - that one is fine for me. Predictable even when you deliberately break them loose. Really, it's like you are in a different world than everyone else when the roads are covered in snow and/or ice. The studs will cut concrete - I discovered this in my driveway when the frozen parking brake locked one rear wheel. Sounds kinda cool, but the marks are still there 3 years later. Braking performance is great too.

Great on snow... Deep and dry is not a problem. In fact I'd rate them excellent in such conditions. I live in Aylmer, Quebec and driving around unplowed backstreets here and in Ottawa is fine.
However, I find them very squirrelly on ice and slush, particularly at speed. Sure, there aren't many tires out there with perfect grip on such a light car in these conditions, but they certainly aren't above average. Like most winters, they wear quickly above 7C degrees and while I only have them on from Dec-Mar, they have lost a lot of performance this second season.
Good overall but not great, at least on my Jetta.

I have a bad experience with these tires when braking (on a dry or wet surface), the car stops very late, it has a strange behavior. Does anyone had e similar experience? Thanks.

These tires provide excellent snow traction. The winter in BC, CANADA in not super crazy, but we get a good deal of snow. I got these tires mainly because i snowboard and go up the mountains very often during the winter seasons, and I needed to assure i would be safe getting there. Even after some heavy snow fall we had, the tire performance exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend this tire!
