This new tire utilises structural technology that places Pirelli amongst the leaders in the ultra high performance segment. This tire design sets new performance standards for winter tires.

Winter Snowsport is designed by Pirelli to allow sporty and high powered saloons to exploit the best of their characteristics providing superior handling performance on wet and dry roads.

While comfort is comparable to the best summer tires, safety is considerably increased by the adoption of new compounds belonging to the most advanced silica generation and materials particularly designed to meet the most severe requirements

Asymmetric tread pattern with variable blocks. Ultra High Performance style longitudinal grooves. Shoulder design derived from racing technology

    • Deep diagonal grooves reduce road noise and assisted by the specially designed blocks, enhance the acoustic comfort and rolling resistance qualities.

These are true winter tires. They will certainly handle any winter condition but also drive fine when the roads are clear or the in shoulder season. They do get somewhat noisy as they wear. My car is heavy and AWD so it seems to wear these tires faster than other cars. After one winter season (SEPT-APRIL), they were half worn all around. After the second winter season, the fronts are still 'ok' for one more season, but the rears are basically bald. I may have failed to adjust the tire pressure during temperature changes and this may be the reason for that. Over a foot of snow on my street this winter. I drive up the street to my driveway. Stop dead and then reverse slowly down my driveway and into the garage (with a 2" lip) without slipping. Sure this is AWD helping, but the tires were very important too. I got 26,000 KM (16,000 miles) out of a set of these tires. That's not very good treadwear life, but other factors can come into play. I also ran them 3 months into the spring/summer season which I shouldn't have. I'm going to buy more of these for next winter and pay closer attention to tire pressure.

I put these tires on my BMW 328i x-drive and they are awesome. Like driving on rails around corners. Definitely a good buy.

I put these on a RWD Porsche, in upstate NY, in the winter! These tires make my car drive like I'm in the middle of the summer on new summer tires. Perfect stopping, perfect handling, I haven't slipped once. These are the best tires I've ever owned. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Love 'em

While we don't get a lot of snow in Victoria BC what we get is usually heavy and wet. These tires cut right through everything so far. I The sidewalls are quite firm so they do make for a somewhat harder ride. I would gladly buy them again.
