After almost one full winter season of driving the tires haven't failed to perform in the large amounts of slushy/snow received in my area this year. First set I've bought from 1010tires and quite pleased with price/service so will likely buy next set from here again.

Rear-wheel-drive Ford/Merkur Scorpio. Noisy because mine are studded. 4/5 for handling and dry because they are winter tires - soft and narrow. My car is a tractor in snow and ice. I'm that jerk who drives fast when everyone else is inching along. The lane that no one is using in the blizzard - that one is fine for me. Predictable even when you deliberately break them loose. Really, it's like you are in a different world than everyone else when the roads are covered in snow and/or ice. The studs will cut concrete - I discovered this in my driveway when the frozen parking brake locked one rear wheel. Sounds kinda cool, but the marks are still there 3 years later. Braking performance is great too.
