These tires were awesome when they were brand new, never got stuck anywhere. These tires wore out way too quickly and lost all their traction on snow and ice.

Was not impressed with this tire. Tire was very noisy and the car did not feel secure. Stopping and starting seemed difficult. This is a very noisy tire and after one season of driving these had to go.

Removed tires from the car in spring so my rating on dry and treadwear is not really applicable. Would not have made it through this past St. Paul, Mn. winter without these tires on the car! Ice was terrible this year. I am buying a pair for the other car this year too.

Former GM cold weather test driver now living in Edmonton, Alberta. I drive like I was trained to drive, with these tires on a FWD Hyundai, light car and live on a seldom plowed street, parking in the back. No problem at all getting through moderate light snow (6 to 8 inches) and on the icy streets, they did not often get sucked into ice ruts. On flat icy roads, they handle almost like summer. Studded, they sound like popcorn, so I just turned the radio volume up a notch. Very stable. Sold the car and after seeing how well they worked, my wife has me selling the Blizzaks on her Elantra and she is taking these over to drive my kids around on. GREAT tires.
