Very poor tire for the highlander. Might be that it is a 19 inch rim, not sure. Terrible on wet surfaces and not very good at handling.

I don't think it my car or cause the bumps in the road. Replacing my 3rd tire . Must be a defect! toyo should replace them. Reliablelawnsrvc@yahoo.com

These tires are extremely round and work best on AL/Mag rims. Steel rims are not made to the high tolerances needed to get a good wheel tire unit. If you have steel rims buy a cheaper clam shell molded tire. If snow traction and mild off road traction is what you want get the Open Country A/T. The Open Country H/T are glass at 75 mph and are very quite. The best tire for highway use in the Open Country H/T. The Hay DR.

I have had 2 sets of these tires. Both sets lasted 80,000 miles plus. I do lots of highway driving at speeds 60 to 70 mph. Tires are not great in snow. They are good in wet weather until tread is 50% gone. Good quiet tire. Made it a point to rotate and balance the tires every 5,000 to 10,000 miles.

I don't know why so many people rate these light truck tires so poorly. I have them on my 2004 Honda Element LX 4WD and I've had none of the issues other people write about. Dry traction is great, Wet Traction is just as good. I both snowboard and mountain bike; so I willing drive into snow to get time up at the mountains. The trail heads I park at are almost all dirt and thus far no issues at all. Not to mention my tries look brand new still too! The tires before these were BridgeStone Dueler HT and these are an upgrade and I used those tires for close to 5 years too in snow. My only gripe about them that I can say without a doubt what I gained in traction I lost in MPG but very slightly. I calculated all the MPG with Garmin GPS Eco feature and it's always on so I lost roughly 2.5 MPG. But these tires out perform them. If you're looking for a good "light truck" tire that works well in all types of terrian then look at these. Also a friend of mine with a 2005 element has had these tires for four years as a daily driver truck and they still look new. So if I get as much wear as he has on mine I would buy these again without hesitation.
