I bought these for my e39 M5 which is 450 hp on the rear wheel. 245 40 18 F and 275 35 18 R.
Grip well in the dry and not bad for wet grip. Decent for light snow (upto 3").
They are very quiet hold up great , my limit has been 180mph.
Wear is even.
Sidewall is slightly mushy but cornering is not bad. Braking is aslo decent as well.
Very decent tires and will buy again.

Really liked the Proxes 4 for the first 15K km. Look great, decent grip on dry surfaces, good handling in the curves. But they were almost done at 20K, lost grip even on dry and I've been told to replace them after only two summers. Tried them on snow and not recommended, even below 0 celsius. Changed for Hankook's.

I ran these on a SRT8 300C slightly modified (tuned, intake, exhaust) and they wore very evenly with no rotations. I had 245/45R20 up front, 275/40 in the back.
They did chirp in 1st and 2nd always, but I'm putting down at least 430hp (not to wheels). I would take 45° corners at 25-35mph and the back end would get a little loose, but I'd stay in control in my lane. I think for the price is was a great tire. It looks like the 4 PLUS replaces this, and the downside is that the PLUS is a hybrid between the original 4 and thier winter tire. In SoCal I don't need a winter, or even All-Season tire.
I never tried these in the snow, and when I'd gun it from a stop or even a rolling 60mph the rear would fishtail in the rain. Stopping was never a problem, but I contribute that mostly to the Brembos.
Overall if you want a tire that has proven to last a solid 30k miles from LOTS of people for a car/SUV pushing around 400HP and the occassional burn out these are very solid. The quickest I had these was 140mph and they were still straight as an arrow with no wobble or problems. I'd buy again if I knew they'd be readily available in case of damage in the future.

These are a fantastic tire for the price! I purchased these after my Proxes T1R wore out and they were very similar in performance. They do have a slight pull to the right but it's very minimal for safety. They stood up to two 7 month stints of hard, long distance driving with no issues. When they do get work, you will immediately notice that they become very poor in the wet so replace them before they wear too much. My car's suspension is very heavily modified to upgrade handling and the tires matched their level of performance with ease. These tires absolutely bite the road when launching and shifting. Will buy again!
