  • Honda Accord - 205 60 16 - I live near Chicago and need snow traction. When new, they were just OK. Now after 20K miles, they are horrible in the snow.

  • 2006 Grand Prix GT - 205/60/16 - I’ve purchased these tires from Superior Tire in Toronto, Ontario for $710.00. WOW WHAT A TIRE. Changed from CrapYear Assurance Triple Treads. Toyo’s are very quite- excellent in dry and wet conditions with great handling. Can’t wait to try them out in the snow, with confidence! Will recommend these tires to everyone I know. Very Impressive Tires!

  • 2004 Honda Accord LX V-6 - 205/60R16 - Update from my April 2009 post (Honda Accord V6). I've now had these tires for almost 2 years, >16,000 miles. I will be replacing them before the snow hits this winter. I recently experienced some major hydroplaning in <.5" of water on the highway with these tires (mind you this is having driven in New England for 15+ years). I'm not confident that they are fully safe to drive on in anything but dry conditions. They still take corners fine but, if on a painted surface (like a stop line) or in rain, the tires slip. Again, perhaps I got a bad batch of Toyo's but, I'm suspecting not.

  • Bought Toyos based on strong recommendation of tire dealer. Very disappointed. They are noisier and harsher than O.E. Bridgestone Turenzas. The gas mileage is down 2 to 3 mpg. The one plus is that grip the road very well but not worth the tradeoff. I am exchanging them for the Bridgestone Serenity.
