This a great tire, BUT there is a major problem. I had eight (8) of these tires and they all developed bubbles. Some were from '09 and some were from '11. Actually I am stuck here in Omaha and will be at walmart tomorrow at 7 for a replacement so I can returned to California. Don't buy nor accept this tire even if you get the second set for free under warranty

So far, two of four tires have had tread separation issues on the outer edge. I believe this is the "summer" compound portion of the tire. These tires have done their duty after 64,000 miles and still had a ways to go to get down to the tread depth indicator bars...except where the bulges started to form! Overall, Toyo has lost another customer. I've been a Michelin buyer until tough times led me to consider Toyo and General for our other car, I seem to have been dealt yet another lesson learned on "you get what you pay for". It's back to Michelin for me and I truly hope that the Toyo Versado LX tire has not contributed to any deaths.

Bought these tires right after I bought my van. I had very high hopes after my experience with Toyo Eclipses on my Corolla. Unfortunately my experience with the Versado LX has not been as positive. As soon as I drove away from the shop the first time I was disappointed by the level of road noise. It wasn't terrible but it also was not the silky smoothness of the Eclipses. As the Versados were supposed to be a luxury touring tire I expected better. Not long after I bought them I began to noticed that there was vibration when I reached about 100kph. I assumed it was a balancing issue so I had them re-balanced. Some improvement but it didn't last. Had the balancing done again with the same lackluster result. The OK Tire I bought these from then checked my front end and claimed I had some issues with a control arm and bushing. Not convinced I went to my mechanic and he found nothing wrong but he told me one of the tires was out of round! NOT impressed with the OK Tire for lying about this. At this point I had too many kms on the tire and I didn't feel like fighting with OK over replacing the tire. Over time the vibration issue went away as I wore the tires in. For handling and tread wear these tires are quite good and mileage is comparable to the previous Michelin's. They are also very smooth and comfortable until I hit the highway and feel the effect of that out of round tire. In wet weather I have no slippage but the same cannot be said for driving in snow or slush. My van is quite heavy and wide and I don't normally bother with snow tires as a result. But these Versado's are forcing me to reconsider because while the first winter was not bad, this winter I have had plenty of traction problems and even slid into the ditch in slushy snow. Overall I would recommend these tires despite the early issue I had with them which I doubt reflects the tires in general. But I would not use them in the winter unless you live in an area with mild winters.

would NEVER buy them again. Been through 6 so far. All of the tread separated from the tires. Makes me not comfortable driving any distance.
