Not good. The Avid TRZ is a 3-in-1 all season tire which means a bit of everything and really is good at nothing. In Vancouver, BC where we have a lot of wet days and light snow, my new AVID TRZ tires on my 2007 Honday Odyssey are quite disappointing. They are Ok on dry road, but slip easily on wet roads during acceleration up hills. My original stock Michelins were much better. I will never buy Yokohama again.

replaced my worn out Continental ContactPro with these. 1) horrible on snow (do not try to steer with these in the snow) 2) horrible when wet 3) one tire completely worn, thought it was an alignment issue, but the alignment technician assured me it was the belt inside the tire shifting. 4) got a nail in one tire once, immediately ruined my rim (had to have it fixed). These tires do not even attempt to try to keep it relatively together for even a tenth of a mile for stopping. 5) very noisy... I didn't realize how noisy they were until i switched back to Continental Extreme DWS 6) there's more why this tire is really bad. Please do not buy. Please. Please. For the first 10k Miles you'll feel satisfied, then it is a very steep descent into complete crap.

Bought these because my dealer recommended them. Awful in the winter here in alberta. Felt like I was driving on banana peels. Do not recommend them as an all season. Had to purchase winter tire BF Goodrich Slalom KSI which I am looking forward to in the winters here. Feels pretty weak in the corners with rain.

I bought these tires for a Honda Odyssey "family taxi" based on the reviews I'd read. To make a long story short, after 25K miles the TRZs are shot. This is an 80K mile tire. Rain and snow traction is completely gone. On normal acceleration in rain, the tires spin and the traction control kicks in. Again, 25K on an 80K tire. On top of that, Yokohama is giving me a significant run around about the warranty, and it looks like they may not honor it. I may have just gotten a lemon set of tires, who knows? But that's what the warranty is for, and a company that isn't honoring it isn't one I'm going to do business with again. As they say, caveat emptor.
