These tires seem to be quite quiet 265 70R17's but they throw lots of rocks, I live on an acerage and my wheel wells look like they have been sandblasted. Also these tires make my truck wander all over the road like it has a bad steering box, I can hardly wait till friday to get some decent tires as I have had these on the truck since 1 week old.

Opel Frontera 2.2 DTI - 246/70/16 - Everyting is fine, except snow. I have 30000km until now and it looks 30000 more can be used at least.

Toyota Sequoia 2008 Limited - 275/65/18 - Just Purchased these tires and went on the highway and country roads during a snow storm these tires gripped the road. They are Excellent! Felt very safe while driving on the slick and wet Highway and they really worked well on the packed down frozen over snow covered back roads. Very happy with the purchase. No different noise level on the road or highway than our old tires that came stock on our SUV. This was the first time we ever considered the Yokohama brand. My wife loves the look and its her vehicle so she went with these. Got to keep the family safe in the winter!

Poor handling may be a result of size (235/85r16E). Otherwise very impresive tire.
