For the majority of light truck and SUV owners, everyday driving is the main use of their vehicle. The integrated design and construction of the Geolandar H/T-S yields true Yokohama style and performance, delivering an excellent ride, great performance and long tread life.
Features:
Dynamic Spring Control (DSC) technology stiffens the lower sidewall as the tire turns and allows the upper sidewall to flex easily over bumps on the road. Resultü A comfortable ride without sacrificing steering response.
Large shoulder blocks provide strength and stiffness for outstanding cornering.
Advanced design simulations and compounding material deliver high-mileage durability.
Circumferential grooves enhance water evacuation.
Cross grooves provide more biting edges for enhanced winter traction.
Constant-contact tread block design reduces the low pitch noise caused by compressed air.

Great grip on dry roads, has made the steering wheel more responsive. Also, I live about 5 miles away from my parents house, and they live on the side of a mountain. So to reach their house I have to climb a steep mountain road (35%+ grade on a large portion of the road) and we live in New England, so the winter is always full of snow. So far, with these tires, I have been able to drive up to their house in the middle of a couple blizzards last winter with no problems whatsoever. As I see other motorists sliding out and slipping off the side of the roadway, I steadily (albeit cautiously) continue on my way never having any problems with traction (unless I drive too fast, but then, the tires wont save you no matter how "good" they are)... Plus, their driveway is a short but VERY steep driveway (the house is set about 40 feet below the street-level) and my car is the only car able to exit the driveway in winter conditions.... this was NOT possible with my previous factory-installed tires...

Horrible in snow - poor performance on wet. Very quiet and smooth on dry pavement.

These tires are terrible in the snow, the worst I have ever had.
