The oem tires were Maxis 175/60 R15. These Yokos are simply the opposite of them. Superb on wet conditions like Senna in Montecarlo. Nissan Micra 1.6 with this ones now feels safety while driving.

1996 Evo IV GSR (AWD) Don't buy these for track or autocross. They are very nice for street though, comfortable, not too stiff and handle and respond well. They are OK for track but not ideal. They're quite responsive which is good but lose grip at higher speeds and tread ware is not the best (although I'm still learning so I tend to overdrive the tires as well). They are quite good on wet track, IMO handled better on we than on dry track.

I have mixed feelings about the S.Drives. They replaced my Yoko AVS ES100s which were great tires that I could not find after they wore out at 46,000kms. The S.Drives are more predictable in handling in dry or wet(the 100s tended to tramline and had huge grip) but will allow you to slide the rear out. My beef is with the wear. I only got 30,000 on the rears (245X40), even though I swapped them side to side at 16,000 to compensate for the camber wear, and have to replace them. The fronts are 225X45 and still have about 15,000 on them. So having said that, I'm keeping the fronts and buying another set of S.Drives for the rears.
