    Winter

    Driving exhilaration knows no season.

For driving enthusiasts, winter is no reason to start riding the brakes. New W.drive by Yokohama offers a superb combination of high performance moxie all year round, and common-sense knowhow on ice and snow. Tread features provide gripping handling in demanding driving situations, with enough backbone to master the pavement in the corners, and the flexibility you need when fall turns to winter. The W.drive evacuates snow, slush and water, putting more rubber in contact with the road. The result is the consistent performance capability you demand, in a tire that stays on track when the mercury drops. So get ready to get exhilarated.

Excellent Winter Tire!!. I've had these on my 2012 STI for 3 winters and 2 Winters on my 2010 Legacy GT - 5 YEARS with no issues. These tires turned my vehicle(s) into winter tanks - unstoppable! Why change your Winter driving habits? Just purchase a set of these and rest assured that nothing will get in your way.

Excellent winter tires. I drive a 2014 Mustang GT with the Brembo brake package, which forces me to go to a 255/40/19 OEM sized wide winter tire. And yet they still bite into the snow and grip incredibly well. They handle a 420 HP RWD musclcar with no problems in the snow, ice, slush and deep snow. In dry conditions, they handle just as good as my OEM Pirelli summer tires. Last night, we got our first major dumping of snow, and I was able to pass 4WD trucks and SUVs on the highway with no problems. I've had Coopers, Toyos, Hankooks, and Michelins on previous cars and none of them performed as well in winter highway driving as the W.Drives. The only weakness of this tire is attempting to drive on unplowed roads with deep snow with ice underneath, which produces alot of tire spin and very little forward movement. But no winter tire handles that situation well.

These are terrible tires for winter. They should not be sold or marketed as winter tires at all. They are not effective at all for ice (dangerous actually) and in the snow I have had all season tires perform better than these. They are also quite loud on the road, but probably not as loud as the big bang you'll here when you crash into somebody using these dangerous winter tires.

BC lower mainland usage. Bought a set of these brand new back in 2007. Used strictly in winter season (Nov to March). Travelled from Whistler to Seattle and everywhere in between at varying elevations. We don't get a lot of snow but black ice and sleet/cold rain is common. These tires continue to serve me well and still lots of tread left. Great investment and have used these on 3 front-wheel drive cars in the past 7 winter seasons.
