    I have a heavy foot, and the tires on my Camry can barely handle my driving. I have the General Altimax RT. Before the Camry I had an '03 Chrysler Concorde that had the Good Year Assurance triple-tread. The Good Years didn't squeal when I started going from the stop light. The General tires won't corner even in a light rain I've slid into oncoming traffic. I couldn't say how many times I've slid to a stop last winter. I do NOT recommend the General Altimax RT.

    Alignment,and additional front end work was done prior to purchase of tires. I know have 18,578 miles with rotation. There is visual treadwear and in the rain was hard to handle. With winter a month away I don't feel safe with these tires. I have contacted my local retailer with this concern, and there reply was no company will guarantee treadwear. They are rated for 70.000 miles I have less than a 1/3 on them. Overall $500.00 invested, Very disapointed !

    Bought these tires with that 60K treadwear warranty. They lasted 31K & were COMPLETELY worn out when I replaced them today with a new set of Michelin Defenders. Would certainly not recommend in snow conditions. VERY unsatisfied with treadwear. Never again!

    Great tire for the price. I can't comment on the tire noise since my exhaust drowns out any sound they might make, so it's good as far as I'm concered. Holds corners at speed pretty good, haven't lost traction in a curve too much (60+ mpg). Awesome rain handiing as well. Great for snow too, but I do have AWD so take that with a grain of salt. Pretty good ride quality. Also very good tread wear for a driver like me (had above 9/32 after 6,000 miles). This is my second set and I would buy another.

    GREAT TIRE FOR THE PRICE AND ALSO GREAT HANDALING IN THE SNOW AND ON DRY PAVEMENT. i HAVE NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO DRIVE IN RAIN YET BUT I'M SURE IT WILL BE A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
