I've had these for two seasons so far and daily drive with them. Superb dry traction for a winter tire (almost as good as some summer tires in summer), great snow and ice traction on shovelled roads but traction control will kick in often on deep snow more than 15cm. Good to above average on wet and slushy conditions, and generally a bit noisy but tolerable (but less so on highway) considering it is a winter tire. Very minimal "Squishy" feeling while cornering aggressively but generally comfortable. Treadwear is superb considering I drive them aggressively and occasionally do donuts and drifting in the snow for fun.
Overall, I'd give the Garit KX a rating of 4.2 out of 5.

I bought a set and put them on the day before a huge ice storm. I drove on a freeway where semis were chaining up, SUV's were rolled over, and police and ambulances racing around because of the number of injury accidents. My lightweight Prius never once even spun the tires. It was utterly amazing ice traction. Driving on bare pavement is the same as the OEM low rolling resistance tires and wet pavement is 100% better. I really can't rate the tires for snow or tread-wear because they haven't been on the car long enough or in those conditions, but the review requires I do. If you can afford them, these tires are worth every penny.

Lexus RX350 - Hands down the best snow tire that I have ever ran - soft and lots of traction on ice - quite (for a snow tire) at 120 km/hr.

3rd winter on these tires, wide range of conditions including packed slush, glare ice, heavy snowfall, etc. While definitely better than all-seasons, there are better winter tires out there. I've driven (on different cars) first-gen X-ice, Blizzak WS60, Winterforce, and these. I put them about on par with the old X-ice overall, not as good in snow but a touch better on ice. Even so I find that these float on any more than 2 inches of snow and just don't dig in. On slick surfaces I go to brake and before I would think brakes were even starting to engage the ABS is kicking in. Accelerating on icy surfaces tricky too, have to ride the clutch to keep the tires from spinning.

Love these tires! I live in Montana and we have about 2ft of new snow on the ground at this writing. There are vehicles stuck everywhere in my neighborhood and I am able to drive around them in the thickest part of the snow.I do have an awd car but my all seasons couldn't touch these.I have purposely tried to get my car stuck in the snow (I have a towing plan)and it just doesn't happen.I even stopped midway up an unsanded steep snow packed bridge and was able to continue my way with no noticeable loss of traction. After having them installed I did not like the way they felt somewhat squishy wobbly because of all the sipping but after I got used to them they handle very confidently when cornering on dry wet and snowy roads.
