I bought these tires based on looks and reviews. They are one of the best treads for aggressiveness and they are fairly quiet for an A/T tire. However, my complaint is rain performance. They want to hydroplane badly when hitting water puddles in the road and they are terrible on concrete such as entrance and exit ramps on the interstate. The vehicle will push in the curves if traveling faster than 30mph on wet concrete.

Since Pontiac/GM/Chev CUV's have random tire sizes I went off the board with an AT tire instead of the traditional AS touring. These performed well in heavy rain and on dry pavement. In the packed snow, they cut well and I never got stuck once. As for Ice, they do slip and aren't made for it at all hence being an AT tire. I rotated them every 30000 km but I noticed from day 1 how noisy they were - like a high pitched howl on the highway. Didn't notice any comfort issues but wouldn't say they were better then an AS tire. Treadwear has been great but I never criss cross either. As an AT tire, they handled OK, but not great - cornering felt more sluggish than when I had the AS tires on. Good bang for buck tire, as long as you rotate them.

I have purchased 6 sets of Open Country AT tires for 3 different Chevy Silverado's. I just bought a brand new GMC Sierra and put on LT275/65/18 @168 miles. Within 100 miles the noise was so loud I did not even want to go on the highway. Then the vibrations started shortly after that. Took the truck to dealer ( they had installed the tires ) they road force balanced them and said all good. As soon as I hit the highway the vibrations were still there and so was noise. I started to play with tire PSI and I could get the noise and vibrations to change, so now I know it's a tire issue. I called TOYO and told them my findings and they blamed my truck. They said your truck must need work, I told them it has 365 miles on it and it was fine before the tires went on. She said fine go get your money back (I was within the 500 mile guarantee ) and then hung up on me. WOW, I have spent $6,000 on tires for my trucks over the years and this is how they treat people. Thank god I took them off and got BF GOODRICH KO. Guess what TOYO. NO NOISE OR VIBRATIONS. GUESS IT WAS NOT MY NEW TRUCK. NEVER WILL I BUY AGAIN OR EVEN RECOMMEND. VERY RUDE PEOPLE THERE!

These tires are great on the road. They are pretty good on snow covered roads. Okay on ice. They are not that great in mud. Keep in mind I do not "mud" the truck it is just my hunting truck and every tire I get off road I immediately put the truck in 4x4 because I have gotten stuck in places a 2 wheel drive could have gone. The tires have trouble gripping wet grass. I have had to call tow trucks on two different occasions because the tread doesn't clean out like they claim, and it cost me $125 both times. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN! If you stay on roads all the time then buy these but if you want to use your truck like a truck then go with BFGoodrich all terrains. I only kept the tires for only about 6,000 miles and took them off after the second tow job, and went back to BFGoodrich!

Wow! I was unsure about which tires to get, and now I am Very pleased with these. I went for an "E" rated tire and and so happy I did't go less. These tires are very quiet, even at 120km/hr. Superior handling and feeling of confidence in a corner at above recommended speeds. I am running 42 psi on all four. Off -road, I was impressed at the things I was going up, where usually I would have gone to 4x4. Haven't tried them in the snow, that why low rating, just got them, but understand they will last quiet a while
