Bought from town fair tire (who by the way, gets a commision from selling toyo brand tires). These tires ruined the way my car handles. Take an off ramp at 40? tires are screaming for dear life, car is fine. Will never buy again. Always going with michelin pilot super sports. If you have a high performance car and want an all season tire i would go elsewhere.

Not fair to compare as the Toyos are not run flats, but these tires are quieter, more comfortable and last at least 50% longer than my previous Michelin run flats. They are also much cheaper to buy.

Bought these at OK Tire about 2 weeks ago. Put on 4 Proxes 4+ ASR. The car is the AWD variant of the Acura TL. The stock OEM Michelin Pilots work fine for the FWD cars, but the AWD car is a different beast altogether and requires a more performance oriented tire [IMO]. The TOYO Proxes 4+ seem to be a decent enough tire. That is except for one thing - there is a very noticeable 'drone' or 'hum' particularly at highway cruising speeds [110-140 KPH]. The noise is there at lower speeds but just not as noticeable. It's somewhat like the noise you'll get with a snow tire (not as extreme) or with a truck tire. OK Tire is working to see if there is a tire issue that needs to be addressed (out of round, re-balance, belt slightly off, etc.). Hopefully we can resolve this issue quickly. It is known that the issue isn't a wheel bearing, or an alignment issue. The rims are true (no similar issues when the Pilots were on these same rims). The tire itself seems like it 'could' be a good tire. Overall, the tire drives well, handles expansion joints for better than the Pilots, and doesn't tramline like the Pilots do. Overall the ride has improved. I've owned 5-6 sets of Toyo tires over 10-15 years. Almost always very happy with them. I hope their quality isn't dropping - that would be a shame. > I really can't provide a snow rating nor tread wear but, if I keep the tires, I'll come back and provide an updated post/
