I upped my size from stock 275/60/20 to 305/50/20..One reviewer said they got 15,000 miles out of these tires I don't know how that happened, I put them on my truck at 38,240 and now have 82,239 miles on them and were purchased on 7/25/09,,That is some pretty damn good life if you ask me,,,There is a small bit of dry cracking now but the tires have about 50,000 miles on them,,,
I am very happy with the wear,, ride is great and FAR quieter than the good years that were on it from the factory...I have had no problems with wet "rain" driving,,,,you cant drive in the rain like you would on dry pavement...I have been in snow as deep as 8" with no problem driving through a field to get the snow blower out at work. Also i live on a dirt road and when the snow gets packed down i spin in 2wd but 4wd is no problem,,same thing going home up a slight incline on the road past a gas station i spin in 2wd sometimes but 4wd no problem.
If my truck did not have limited slip differentials it would have done much better
..Don't expect these tires to preform life "off road" tires...they work well and have a cool tread,,,They are directional tires, keep that in mind when rotating
During the last major snow we had on the north fork of long island i had to drive someone who did not have 4x4 home to get his wifes' jeep to take back to work,,his 2w was not going anywhere..Well the roads were VERY bad, freezing layer of ice/slish under several inches of new snow and i was crawling like 15MPH, I did not get stuck,,the town had alot of catchup during that storm but i blame none..
Again i got 50,000 miles on these tires,,,how does another poster get 15,000?
