Based in Tokyo, Japan Yokohama has been manufacturing tires for the better part of 100 years. It was founded in 1917, as part of a joint venture between Yokohama Cable Manufacturing and B.F. Goodrich. Yokohama has been a leader in technology and innovation. Their product line includes the dB Super E-spec—the first tire in the world to use orange oil in order to reduce petroleum—as well as tires for high-performance, light truck and passenger cars. Yokohama is the official tire supplier of the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge and World Touring Car Championship as well as the Macau Grand Prix Formula 3 Cup race.
