I have had these on my Subaru Legacy for two months. I have gone through 3 snowstorms of 2" to 4" each. Extreme cold with fluffy snow, packed and ice. I must say I'm extremely impressed. I know the car itself is known for being the best (for awd sedan) but the fact I can stop on a dime, corner and easily and confidently stop on hills and restart without or with minimal slippage is wonderful. Must attribute a lot of it to the tires. Again, I only have about 1500 miles on them, but owning trucks and other awd vehicles, I must say for the price, you can keep the blizzaks and nokian tires!

I purchased my 2017 Audi A4 new about a month ago and it came with all-weather tires (245/40-R18). Since it was late in the season, I was unable to find any sludless winter tires except the Cooper WM-SA2's locally. We've had a pretty light winter so far, less than 1ft. of snow, but cold temps mean lots of ice. I've put over 2000 miles on these tires in ice conditions and about 100 miles through a mountain pass in 6" of heavy rutted slush. I find the tires to be better than the all-season tires that the car came with, but they aren't quite up to the sure footed security of Blizaak or Nokian. The price was fair and they do the job, just not the leader of the pack in my opinion. Also, we've had many Cooper studded winter tires on our other vehicles and they have always performed excellent. I think these studless tires probably have a harder rubber compound than their competitors, but that is pure speculation on my part. If they do in fact have a harder compound, it should show up in better treadwear, which I am unable to evaluate yet due to my low miles. In summary; I find these tires are better than all season tires for winter driving, but not the best available. However, if the price is right I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

These tires were phenomenal for a month in extreme snow. However they wore extremely quick. Winter tires of any quality are known to wear but these are sub par. I do not plan to purchase this brand again.

Got these tires as "upgraded" as the ones I ordered could not be shipped out in the quantity I ordered. They were said to be a new model for the 2015-16 year. They seemed fine early winter, fairly good in the wet weather we got, pretty quiet for a winter tire. When the snow came, all I can say is for a "snow" tire, they are horrible. The car has a hard time leaving stop signs and plows in a straight line when attempting to corner in any snow condition (and speed, its a VW, not a race car I'm driving). The only reason I rated them a 1 in snow was due to a great stopping ability. I am not sure if I got a bad compound (batch) but I am actually leary about attempting to use these in a highway situation. These might be the last set of Cooper tires I buy due to this.
