Highway All-Season light truck tires are for drivers who want a combination of pleasant on-road characteristics, long wear and all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Highway All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD, light- and medium-duty vans, trucks and pickups, as well as crossover and sport utility vehicles

O.E. Highway All-Season light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications

I would never recomend these tires to anyone driving in the North East! They are terrible in wet weather and only decent in snow. When we brought the RAV 4 back in 2004 We allready noticed that we will not like these tires. The first week we had it there was heavy rain. Even with a gental acceleration the front tires would spin and the system traction control would kick in and you get that slip light flashing on the dashboard!! This was from only gental acceleration! Also on light/ heavy snow days breaking is terrible! The system would consstantly pump the brakes ABS kicking in because even slowly trying to stop the tires would slip and slide. We have a driveway at home which has a small incline and the tires would spin and not be able to get up. It doesn't help that Toyota traction control isn't that great because it does not know what to do. This is a problem because my 89 Corolla can manage to get up that driveway with light snow while the RAV4 couldn't?!! Both vhiecles are FWD 4x2. Changing tires soon and will def go for something else. 44K mi for tires is decent treads are getting worn a bit, tire starting to get smooth.
