Goodyear Tires Goodyear Eagle LS
Goodyear Eagle LS Review

Anonymous"I have had these tires for 3.5 yrs with 32,000 miles on them. At first the tires handled great, I felt confident behind the wheel but after a year the wet traction began to decline followed by the dry traction a few months later. Now if I tap the gas a little to hard the wheels spin. The snow traction was never that great so that has only gotten worse. "

DaveyK"These tires are original equipment on 2000 jetta. After about 40,000 kms they became very noisey due to uneven tread wear despite proper rotation. At 80,000 they are 90% worn and I can't handle the noise. I will not replace them with another goodyear product. "

Josh B."OEM on my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES V6. These tires are THE bigges pieces of crap I have EVER seen! Why do car makers insist on making these OEM??? They squeal and spin when the gas is tapped, handle like crap, are loud, and just plain suck! Not to mention they are ready for replacement after not even 20,000 miles! I plan on replacing them with Dunlop Sport A2's."

Todd"Came stock on my 99 Dakota, and first snowfall was scary! The next summer, performance decreased as tires wore: spun on dry pavement too easily, wet pavement most gears.Tires are done now (at 40,000 km)and now I can't find a better tire in that size. I'll buy yokahama's avid ST in a bigger size, for $50 less/tire.Goodyear and Dodge suck for picking an odd size tire that almost no one else makes (255/65/15). "

Dan"This like every goodyear tire I have ever own is garbage, no traction, wears out quick, and cost way too much....had the tires not came on my 2001 Dakota, I never would of had them."

Bill B"Tires came factory on a 2000 Dakota. Were OK in wet, horrible in snow when new. After 30 - 40 K miles, the treadwear is so significant and wet traction is almost zero. "

Anonymous"1998 Dodge Dakota. Had to fight with dealer to replace these tires after 17,000 miles under warranty due to unreasonable tread wear. Second set at 37,000 miles need replaces again. I am going with Michelin Cross Terrain. This set will be with my buck. I would not go with the same tires for free. These tires are absolute crap!!!!"

Mack"I have a 1999 pontiac grand am 4cyl. I bought the car used and it had 3 LS tires and one RS-A. After 30,000 miles they were starting to get shot. After 38,000 the fronts are almost dead, and when it rains the car slides"

Anonymous"OE on 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I've never been happy with the way they handle in rain or snow. They slide easily and as time went on, they would even spin when dry. I can't complain about tread life, though. I am ready to replace them now at 60,000 miles...but I'm not shopping for Goodyear."

Bob F"These tires started out fine but steadily got worse as the mileage increased on them. I have always had goodyear eagles of some kind on my cars, but these tires were terrible. The road noise was extreme and they didn't hold their shape well and caused a vibration right up through to the stearing. I would not recommend these tires!!"

Anonymous"Absolute CRAP! Like all Goodyear tires. I wish I could figure out why they bother putting them on new vehicles. They don't work on anything other than bare, dry pavement!"

D Flash8"The Eagle LS is a true piece of crap-not a fake one! I have a PT cruiser with 11 K on it. The tires are out of round and the tires shake the car even after being balanced AGAIN. Now Im looking on the internet for opinions on Michelins, which I always had great luck with!"

WilliamW"Original Equipment on my 2002 Dakota. Handling is fair, but wet traction is very poor. I am also very certain that these tires will get worse as they wear, as experienced with other Goodyear tires in the past. I wish Chrysler would choose Michellin or Bridgestone as original equipment."
