"1990 Honda accord and 1993 Pontiac Sunbird V6 Liked the tires so much after installing on my wifes car I purchased for my car when it came time to replace. I have never seen so many positve notes on searching for a car tire. I have had my share of poor tires that I paid much more for. I drive city and highway miles and do push the speed limit. Usually on my car I travel 30k a year in all weather WI,IA,MO driving all year long. Rated "very good" as a race type compound would offer better traction, however smooth tires and low noise is a plus and look at the treatwear rating and so far the tires are on track for that and then some. Tires will prob. outlast the two cars! One less maintance item to worry about. Stainless steel exhaust and good high milage tires are items you can't afford to skimp on if you dive a lot. Labor is the same but intervals are increased or eliminated."

"1994 Park Ave Ultra w/Gran Tour pkg. 215/60-16 32lbs press. Bought these tires because of high rating for snow traction. Not good at all in the snow on my car. Have to go down to 28lbs in the front to get ANY traction. To hard of a rubber compound. Will not buy a high milage tire again. Goodyear Eagle GA was a far better tire even though poor rating on here. But hey Goodyear even said they were made for heavy sedans. A positive for the AVIDS was they cut through the water but turning was dangerous both wet and snow. Next will be BFGoodrich Traction T/A"

"Excellent tire for family sedans that do not exceed the speed limit. Not a racing tire, but a great tire for the conservatively driven automobile. These tires work wonderfully on my 1995 Oldsmobile 88 Royale. "

"Chevy Malibu LS 1998 - I went from the stock size of 215/60-15 to 205/65-15 just so I could use these tires. These Avid Tourings are amazing for the price.They are a small step down from the performance tires I'd been using, Dunlop Sport A2 and Firestone Firehawk SH30, but a large step up in ride smoothness and quietness. I've also found them to be better than Michelin X1s at less than half the price. One of the few tires I have liked enough to buy a second set."
