The all-terrain that KOs the competition. What it is:The tire that invented the all-terrain category remains the race-winning standard for on- and off-road performance, great mileage and a bold look that transforms the appearance of any vehicle you put it on. Who it’s for: Pickup, jeep and SUV owners who want to step up in looks and true all-terrain on- and off-road performance from their original equipment tires.

  • ShoulderLock™ technology (upper sidewall traction bars, 40% wider shoulder grooves): Maximizes "aired down" traction and steering control in deep dirt, mud and sand; provides more aggressive appearance; reduces noise, and minimizes hydroplaning.
  • Longer tread life (up to 12%), enhanced resistance to irregular wear and better traction provided by dual tread radius with advanced profile design that improves stress distribution.
  • Excellent traction and handling on- and off-road; improved traction, greater gravel wear resistance and decreased stone retention all delivered by aggressive, high void all-terrain tread design with interlocking tread elements, innovative siping and stabilized tread center.
  • TriGard® three-ply construction delivers exceptional bruise resistance under the tread and in the sidewall.
  • Precise steering response and cornering control, plus excellent bruise and puncture resistance provided by tread-stiffening two full-width steel belts.
  • Improved ride

Worst tire ever made. Installed on an entire fleet of GM trucks not one set lasted more then 2 yrs. Very Bad Vibrations from all vehicles due to excessive wear after about 15,000- 20,000kms. And yes they were rotated regularly!!!!

BUYER BEWARE! Michelin's BF Goodrich all terrain TA LT 285/65R20 Load Range E tires come apart and have torn up 2 of my trucks. Both instances the tires had less than 20,000 miles. What really offends me is Michelin's attitude towards its customers. After the 2nd incident I filed a claim and spent additional money to send Michelin the tire per claim instructions. It's expert claimed the failure to be the result of hitting an object. I know this is not true as I put all miles on the truck. I had to hire a lawyer and a tire expert. My expert examines it and claims it to be an adhesion problem due to design or manufacturing defect. Michelin hire lawyers to fight it and offer a fraction of the damage costs. Michelin does not take responsibility for its defective products. I will never buy another Michelin product and I am going to fight this to the end. I am most happy to share information with disgruntled Michelin customers.
