Bridgestone engineered the Blizzak™ WS-80™ so you can conquer the cold, snow and ice. With a suite of features that deliver trusty traction in all winter weather, it´s easy to see why Blizzak is "the official tire of winter".

  • A new Hydrophilic Coating reacts to the elements for confident stopping power on snow and ice. Advanced Multicell Compount® with Nano Pro-Tech® works at a molecular level to remain pliable in cold.
  • New Cavity Shape distributes contact pressure uniformly across the entire footprint area for even wear and dry, ice and snow performance.
  • Bite particles act like microscopic studs providing confident road grip and braking on ice. 3D Zigzag Sipes create biting edges without sacrificing block stiffness. Increased block edges by 20% (compared to WS70) for better handling on snow and slush.

Works extremely well in snow and ice for the Mini Cooper. Oversized from oem tire size for a more plush winter drive. Have bought Blizzak's for over a decade now and feel that they are the best. My brother has the same car with another major brand of winter tires on it and they do not work even half as well

Have had several sets of Blizzaks. We’re good winter grip for the first 70% of tread. Reasonable price/wear compromise. Comfy but a bit noisy.

Really noticed how good this tire is after a couple of big snowfalls. Handles very well in snow and I always felt confident of the traction. After the last snowfall the temperatures dropped to the low minus 20's F so the roads were covered in packed snow which quickly turned to ice. The tires gave consistent grip and handled well. I would definitely recommend these tires.
