Stay away. They have no grip on even moderate icing conditions making them a dangerous tire. Don't believe the tire sales peoples comments.

I've had two sets of these tires. I bought them to replace the noisy Michelin LTX tires on the vehicle that were very noisy and hummed me to sleep on the highway. The Bridgestone Dueler H/T 689's 109H have let me down twice. Once off-roading with a sharp rock puncture to the sidewall which would have disabled any tire. The second time the tire had a tread separation that opened up on a paved roadway and I could see the steel belts inside. Handling is okay with this tire, but not great. Snow traction in the mountains is okay, but I have real time 4WD, the car weights 6,000 lbs and I carry heavy weight over the rear axle. You can do better than this tire. I prefer the Dunlop GranTrek TG35's which I also run on a separate set of rims. I will not buy the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 689 again. I am swithcing to Michelin X-ICE for my Snow & Ice winter tires in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Continental CrossContact LX for my Spring/Summer tires.

Great looking tire purchased for their mileage rating and warranty... with less than 1000M the ride is excellent, handling is slightly loose. Comfort and noise levels are excellent. I'm concerned over the ratings for wet weather and will be following this rating up latter when I have the chance to evaluate the tires on wet roads. If these tires prove disappointing I plan on using the Platinum warranty to send them back and will buy the more expensive Micheline XL-MS. Please disregard the wet, snow and treadwear ratings... they were input because this review would not post when left blank, I have not been able to evaluate these items yet..

Came with my vehicle and lasted 75000 km. A bit noisy on the highway at times, especially after rotating. I was never worried driving in -40C in 12 inches of snow with my AWD and these tires. I have a fairly good engine and always put these tires to a test. I only every hydroplaned on the highway in severe thunderstorm conditions.
