The Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 is unavailable for purchase or is currently out of stock.

The latest in our line of environment-conscious tires, the Ecopia™ EP422™ is an all-season tire that delivers a smooth, comfortable ride. It is designed to improve rolling resistance, which helps it achieve better gas mileage. With its innovative tread compound and advanced traction technology, the tire is a strong, reliable performer on wet and dry surfaces all year long.

  • NANOPRO-TECH improves rolling resistance and contributes to fuel-efficiency and CO2 reduction by controlling the interaction between polymer, filler materials and other rubber chemicals at the molecular level.
  • FUEL SAVER SIDEWALL COMPOUND helps lower rolling resistance by both returning more energy back to the tire and reducing heat generation as compared to a traditional sidewall.
  • SILICA improves traction in wet conditions by increasing flexibility of tread compound.
  • RECYCLED GROUND RUBBER made from ground-up post-consumer tires, it contributes to 5% of the tread compound.
  • CIRCUMFERENTIAL GROOVES help channel water out of the footprint area to improve resistance to hydroplaning.

I got 46K miles on my last set of EP422's. I like to drive with some spirit so I am sure you could get much better mileage than I did. My tires were the V speed grade and I think this helped the mileage because a prior set of H rated Ecopia tires only lasted for 38K miles. Never tried these tires in snow but i they initially handled well in wet conditions.

Ok so maybe I got different Ecopia tires but I just got my second set put on my car. Maybe it makes a difference my car is AWD but I drove through some heavy heavy snow with no problems at all. I mean you couldn't see at all... So I am happy with these tires...

Horrible tires. In the snow, they might as well be bald. These useless tires caused me to slide for 30 or 40 ft right into someone because they were unable to get any grip at about 10mph in an inch of snow. They also are very loud and uncomfortable, and they scream through any corner if the car is going faster than the average minivan.. I've never come close to having an accident before, not even with sporty rwd cars in much more snow with a lot more worn out tread. Thanks, Bridgestone. Now I'm left with a damaged car and an at fault accident. These will be replaced ASAP. I can't stress enough how dangerous these tires are for any cold climate areas.

Do not buy these tires - First Bridgestones I purchased in a long time and very disappointing. Car shakes terribly now even after repeated balances. Rims are fine and never had anything close to this problem with the Michelin's I had on previously. Terrible tire.

I have been driving for 40 + years. These are probably the nosiest tire I have had on any of vehicles. They literally make it impossible to even hear my radio / Sirrus / Cd's or anything or, simply trying to converse with my girlfriend in the passenger seat . Terrible, just terrible. I would not recommend these tires to anyone. I now have to wait for them to wear out, before purchasing another set of tires....
